Principal’s Message

Greetings Barrows Community:

My name is Robert Kallajian and it is my honor and privilege to begin the year as the interim principal of Charles H. Barrows STEM Academy.

We are excited for the 2024-25 school year and we feel like this is a year of positive transition. We are getting back to optimizing and emphasizing the most important qualities that a school can be built upon, Rigor, Relevance and Relationships.

We have completed extensive revision on our STEM curricular units, which, in combination with our research-based math, reading and science programs will offer students even more rigorous, inquiry-based educational opportunities than ever before.

We stay relevant by offering challenges and opportunities at all levels for all learners. We want to hold new celebrations and events for our students and their families so that everyone feels like an integral part of our school.

The Barrows staff is looking so forward to welcoming your child(s) to the upcoming school year where building relationships with our students and families is our number one priority and will lead to a happy and successful school year!
