The Cultural Diversity Club is open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. The goal of the club is to promote respect and appreciation for different cultures. Some activities that students participate in are: learning about other cultures through virtual fi eld trips, interacting with virtual guests, sampling foods from around the world, and completing individual projects. We sometimes have online guests or staff members attend meetings to talk about their culture and backgrounds. Throughout the school year, the students create relationships and learn communication skills while interacting with each other and our guests. Overall, the club helps students to gain knowledge about the world and to create stronger bonds in our school community.
