Week of December 1-5, 2025              

Hello WHS Families,

Each month, we practice a school safety drill. On Wednesday, we will practice a Lockdown Drill at 11:15 am. The Willimantic Police Department and ECSU’s University Police will assist our SRO George Rosado with running this drill. Staff and students will practice the lockdown procedures, and during this time no one will be able to enter the building. The drill will take about 15 minutes.

Progress reports will be mailed on 12/11.

INFORMATION for families of SENIORS: 

Class Dues

• Total Cost: $100

• Early Payment Discount: $75 if paid by December 23th, 2025

• Final Deadline: All dues must be paid by March 31st, 2026

• Payment Methods: Cash or Check Only (Checks should be made payable to “Windham High School Bank.”)

What Dues Cover:

• Yearbook

• Cap and gown

• Class shirt

• Field Day

• Senior Sunrise and Senior Sunset and other class events

Please note that class dues do NOT cover Prom tickets or the Senior Class Trip. These are separate costs that will be communicated later in the year.

Fundraising Opportunities

Students may reduce their dues through participation in approved fundraisers. Currently, we are running a Butter Braid and Cake Roll fundraiser through December 8th. Individual sales from this fundraiser will be credited toward a student’s dues.
