Principal’s Message

Dear Charles H. Barrows STEM Academy Families,

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year at C.H. Barrows STEM Academy.  It is my pleasure to join the entire staff in ushering you and your child to the new school year and all the possibilities that this year holds for your child.

It is in the spirit of cooperation that you receive our handbook/calendar for this year, and we hope that it serves as a useful resource for you throughout the school year.  The handbook contains procedures, policies, and already scheduled events for the upcoming school year.  This year, we have also included our School Code of Conduct.  We ask that you read this carefully and review the pertinent information with your child.  We have designed this booklet so that we all (school and home) can all be “on the same page.”  When the families and schools work together, the students are always the beneficiaries.  So please keep this handbook/calendar handy during the school year.

Please feel free to contact me, assistant principals: Mrs. Wong/Mrs. Sawyer and Mr. Kallajian, or any of Barrow’s staff members to help answer questions or concerns that are addressed in this handbook.  We all have the exact same goal: the academic success of YOUR CHILD.
